What we collect
To create an account, we collect your full name, email address, and a hashed password (we never store your password in plain text). If you’re invited to a project, we record which project you belong to and your role on it. Using the Calculator and Analytics modules stores the sub-basin, barangay, and water footprint data you or your project team enter or upload.
How we use it
Your account data is used to authenticate you and control what you can see and edit. Project data is used to compute and display Water Footprint Accounting results for your study area. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, and we do not currently run any third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this system.
Cookies
We set one essential session cookie to keep you signed in. It is not used for tracking or advertising, and the system does not work without it.
Who can see your data
Project data is visible to members added to that project, Admin accounts, and DOST oversight accounts (read-only, across every project). LGU accounts see only the project(s) they are explicitly added to.
Your rights
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Contact the project team below to make a request.
